As referent of the Postulator, he wished to exchange with Archbishop Olivier de Germay about the “solemn Eucharistic celebration that should be planned, in which the decree on the heroic nature of the virtues of Fr. Louis Querbes, declared venerable on October 2, 2019, would be proclaimed.
The new Archbishop of Lyon was interested in everything he learned about Louis Querbes and his congregation. He received a copy of the decree. He will even read the “Positio” that Fr. Crozier had given to his predecessor.
A date can be set in agreement with the Superior General as soon as the health situation and travel allow. The primatial church of St. John the Baptist and the church of St. Nizier have been mentioned as possible locations for this celebration.
