Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Viatorian Community,

On behalf of the members of the General Council I am happy to send you greetings and good wishes on this Feast of Saint Viator. Today Viatorians across the globe pause in prayer and celebration in recognition of our patron, Saint Viator. I hope that this day provides a time to renew and deepen the vision of our Founder as well when we gather as the Viatorian Community.

Even as we gather in celebration of Saint Viator, we also live through the difficult global pandemic that has touched all our lives. I continue to remember each of you in prayer, hoping that you remain safe and healthy, even amid a seeming renewed wave of the virus in many places. Let us continue to remember in prayer those who have died and the many who are sick and hospitalized.

Once again, my best wishes to you for a happy and blessed St. Viator Day. I am grateful for all that you do to accomplish the mission of the Viatorian Community in the church and in our world. Your witness to the Gospel brings life and energy to the founding vision of Father Querbes. May God’s blessings be with you.

Fraternally in St. Viator,

Robert M. Egan, CSV
Superior General
